The castle is located on the edge of the Loire, in the "Valley of the Kings", so called because for centuries the kings of France had made it their summer resorts and some their main residences. The construction of this castle was completed in 1878. It is built on a granite base and then all in tuff, a white limestone that was used, among other things, for the construction of cathedrals and royal castles. The designer had lived 3 years at the castle of AZAY LE RIDEAU, jewel of the French Renaissance (François 1er 1494 -1547). His goal was to take the proportions to be inspired by it, design and then build this castle that recalls its features. This property, facing south, is built on a plot of 7 hectares, slightly inclined, overlooking the Loire. An extension of the office had been deposited at the town hall.
