We offer for sale a unique First Republic hotel surrounded by extensive grounds of more than 70,000 m2. The complex includes a tennis court, a game reserve and even its own heliport. The total area of the building, including the east wing, is 3,200 m2, while the main building with a usable area of 1,200 m2 has 13 fully equipped themed rooms and luxury suites. The property is sold including authentic antique equipment, furniture and artwork that complete its historical and elegant character.
The property is ideal for creating your own luxury residence, or continuing to operate as a hotel, which can be expanded with additional accommodation capacities. A great advantage of the property is that it is not listed. The place is therefore ideal for organizing various corporate events, weddings and other events, primarily thanks to the picturesque nature and beautiful castle atmosphere.
The main building of the hotel is a free-standing, non-basement building with three floors, which consists of a central part and two asymmetrical wings. The ground floor of the main building includes a noble entrance hall, a large hall, a reception, a kitchen with technical facilities and a restaurant. On the first floor you will find a historic wooden staircase, a hall, a library, a large wedding suite, a lounge and other rooms, on the second floor there are the remaining rooms and suites.
The main building is connected to a separate wing, which was previously used as a historical museum and is connected to it by a passage. This wing consists of three separate operational buildings and has a newly renovated roof. Thanks to its spaciousness, it offers the possibility of expanding the accommodation capacity or expanding the existing wellness center, for example by adding a swimming pool. Alternatively, the robust structure with high-load ceilings can be used to build a garage with direct access to the main building.
The entire complex has a complete engineering network, including water, sewage, telephone and electrical connections. Heating is provided by a new automatic coal-fired boiler, which represents an economical solution for operation. The restaurant is equipped with a kitchen using electricity and gas cylinders. There is a new 58-meter-deep borehole on the premises, which is part of a secondary branch of the St. Adalbert spring. The borehole is ready to be connected to the Letohrádek water supply system and provides up to 10,000 liters of water per day, ensuring the premises are fully self-sufficient in water supply.
The Summer Palace of St. Adalbert was originally built as a mill around 1562, known as the Turkuv mlýn. In 1880 it was converted into a residence, later serving as a sawmill and a knitwear factory. During the socialist period, the castle was nationalized, and only after 1990, as part of restitutions, was it returned to the heirs of the original owners. In 2008, the Summer Palace of St. Adalbert was sold as an abandoned building. The new owner then began a sensitive reconstruction that lasted until 2014. Since 2016, the Summer Palace of St. Adalbert has been used as a luxury First Republic hotel, which today offers a unique atmosphere and historical charm.
The headquarters are located in the village of Pocátky, approximately 25 km from Jindrichuv Hradec, 130 km from Prague and 120 km from Brno.
