This finca is the home of Mari and Sam, a Brazilian-English couple that have spent the last few years building our natural homestead here in the heart of rural Spain. The house is off-grid, with water from a deep well, electricity from solar panels, and on-site waste treatment. A large veggie patch and some chickens provide a good part of our diet. All the buildings on the land are made out of earth, with natural floors and finishes, with all furniture and fittings either handmade or restored. There are panoramic views of the Sierra de Gredos and although you are only a 10minute walk (or 5 minute drive) from the village of Fresnedilla, it feels like you have the valley all to yourself....
