Welcome to your home away from home on our beautiful, quiet hillside in the country, near downtown Ithaca, Cornell, Ithaca College, lakes, waterfalls, parks, wineries, farmers market, and more. Eco-conscious, solar-powered home. Sunny private suite: two beautiful rooms with ash wood paneling made from trees on our land, cork flooring, lots of natural light, and pastel paintings by your host, Suzy; private bathroom. Smoke-free property, indoors and out. Hearty breakfast made with mostly local and organic ingredients, including eggs from our hens. Trails (walk, run, ski, snowshoe) and ponds (swim, skate) on the property. Sunsets! We are a family of four: myself, my husband, and our two teenage/young adult daughters. Artists, musicians, dancers, students, and nature lovers. We celebrate diversity and welcome guests of all backgrounds with kindness and respect. The guest suite is a cat-free space, but we do have two cats that use other parts of the house, so, if you have severe cat allergies, it might not work for you.
