We have a lovely warm quiet home in the suburb of Hoon Hay, on the west side of Christchurch about 10 minutes drive or 6.7 km from the central city. Our daughter is 16 years old and we have 5 cats ! They love to sprawl out in front of our roaring log burner in the winter, and likewise outside on our large decking area in the summer, where we relax and enjoy bar-b-ques and a drink in the warm summer nights. Please note: the website indicates, under the heading of Meals above at the top of this listing, that only a light breakfast is included in the cost per night, and any additional meals will be charged. I have tried to change this detail but it won't allow it...... FOR OUR HOMESTAY, ALL 3 meals per day are included and made available in the cost of $40 per person per night. I hope this clarifies things.
