Guests have the basement to themselves, with exception of shared laundry room. I live on the property upstairs. * Shared entrance at the back door. * Perfect for quiet, clean, mature travellers. Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and mini-fridge / freezer are available for simple food prep. Coffee, tea, sweeteners, and powdered creamer provided. Shared laundry machines and detergent are available for guest use free of charge, as well as iron and ironing board. Guests are not allowed upstairs (host's living space) without explicit permission from the host. Payment: * 25% deposit is required to book * Remainder can be paid in advance (recommended) or at the door using PayPal or Square * Check-in after 4:00pm * Check-out by 11:00am. **Same-day bookings not guaranteed after 9pm** * Check-in instructions for self-entry provided on day of arrival, once full payment has been received Booking for family, friends, or others is prohibited unless you are staying with them. I reserve the right to turn away guests who don't match profile information. THINGS TO NOTE: * Please avoid use of artificial fragrances; I am intolerant, as are many of my regular guests. Please apply outside once you leave for the day (non-spray under-arm deodorant is fine). * There is a dropped ceiling in some areas--those over 6ft tall may need to mind their head in doorways * Not suitable for children under 5 * Not suitable for those with cat allergies
