We like to have guests to stay and share our home, and we can tell you all about the area, places to go to nearby as well as further afield in Sri Lanka. I have been a National Tour Guide for 15 years so have plenty of knowledge and experience to help you decide where to visit. We would love to welcome you to our friendly and comfortable home, which is just a few minutes from the beach and in a quiet and peaceful area. Trees surround our home and you can enjoy watching the monkeys and birds in the garden as you relax on the balcony outside your room. Myself, Nala, my wife Nadee and daughters Thisali and Aruli will all try to make sure you have a very enjoyable stay in our beautiful area on the south coast of Sri Lanka. We love to cook delicious Sri Lankan food, such as rice and curry, and can help you to learn how to cook these dishes to enjoy when you get home. It is possible to do a range of water sports from the beaches near us as Jungle Beach is 450m away and Weligama Beach 2km from us. In the area is surfing, snorkelling, and diving; also yoga and spa facilities are close by. It is interesting to walk down to the local fishing village to see the catch being brought in, and to visit the local pottery workshop and see Cinnamon Island, just 15 minutes away. You can also stroll to Walliwala town and spend time in the local shops and cafes. A big attraction from December to April is to go on a whale watching trip from Mirissa, again not far from our home. We have three bedrooms available, two upstairs which both have double beds and ensuite bathrooms and a downstairs bedroom which has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and the option to also have a single bed for a child. All have a balcony to sit out on.
