Large family home with great views Our family live in a five bedroom house on the edge of a village just outside Cadaval in the Lisbon Region. We have three dogs and a teenager. The house has panoramic views of the Serra De Montejunto hills and surrounding countryside and we have a large, above ground pool from which you can enjoy the views while swimming. We have a garden to the front, outdoor kitchen area at the back plus a field with an olive grove though currently somewhat overgrown. The house has a terrace running along the front, 3 bathrooms and two spare rooms, called the Library and Music room, for guests to stay plus communal living and dining room. The library has great views and on the first floor. The music room is on the ground floor with a cosier feel and wheelchair accessible. We are only a couple of minute's drive to the nearest café and shop in the village and close to the town with more amenities. There are good walks nearby and we are approximately half an hour from beaches, cinemas, the medieval town of Obidos and on the wine route, plus an hour into Lisbon, so there is plenty to do in the area for all ages. We have been renovating our house for the past year, it still isn't finished and priced accordingly, but a great budget option for visiting the area.
