Immerse yourself in the heartbeat of Rome with a stay in a 12th century turret, a stroll away from the Pantheon. Divided over four floors, guests are welcomed by a living area complete with a compact but full kitchen. Ascend the winding staircase to discover two bedrooms – each with an ensuite bathroom. At the top, there’s a mini home gym, and a desk for those working remotely. You can really feel the history of Rome in the frescoes by Taddeo and Federico Zuccari, but the narrow stairways may not suit everyone.
*This is an ancient tower, split across four levels with old, narrow staircases between floors. It would not suit children under four or those with limited mobility.
*While the kitchen area is rather compact, it does have a full oven, stove, fridge and freezer.
*It's a little cramped in the living area and the TV is quite small.
*There is air conditioning in the bedrooms, but not in the living room.
*In a central location, you may hear some street chatter with the windows open.
*There is no private parking with this home, but it's in the centre of Rome. Having a car is not necessary.
