Twenty minutes from Glastonbury lies Castle Cary, a charming market town with scenic countryside on its doorstep. This cottage is only a five-minute drive from the town's shops and eateries, while further afield, Bruton, Wells, and the Mendip Hills are all within easy reach. We're smitten with the views back home – nothing beats waking up to rolling fields. The second bedroom has a triple bunk well-suited for little ones, and the living area has a gas-effect fireplace for cosying up. A small dog is welcome to tag along, though it's worth noting that there isn't much outdoor space here.
*One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you here. There's only a small gravel garden directly outside the conservatory that isn't enclosed – dogs must be on a lead at all times. We think this home isn't suitable for large or energetic dogs that need a lot of space.
*The second bedroom has a triple bunk – there's a double on the bottom and a single on top.
*This cottage is on a main road. It can get busy, and noise is likely when lorries drive past. Because there aren't any pavements, walking to the town centre can be tricky.
*There's a narrow parking area in front of the cottage, though we think it's best for small cars.
