In the 1700s, this apartment was a hosiery factory crafting garments for Paris' elite. Today, it's a far cry from its socks-and-stockings past, though you can still sense the history in the stone walls and wooden beams. The pièce de résistance is the private terrace. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a drink after a day strolling through the city. Lofty ceilings and large windows flood the interior with natural light. It all feels roomy and open – those sleeping on the sofa bed shouldn't feel squeezed. Location-wise, an array of artisan bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and shops are a five-minute stroll away. You can also walk to the Louvre in twenty minutes, though a metro station is nearby, too.
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area.
*Unfortunately, this home isn't suitable for children and infants.
*This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings to be present during your stay. There may also be a few locked cupboards that your host uses for storage.
*As the terrace is on the first floor, noise can travel to the neighbours. Your host asks that you keep noise to a minimum after 10pm out of respect.
*This apartment is on the first floor of a building without a lift. You'll need to climb stairs here.
