With stop-and-stare views of Lake Garda (which is a short walk away), this villa is perfect for a family holiday or group getaway. The sunny gardens are our favourite feature – there’s a scenic swimming pool overlooking the lake, plus plenty of shaded spots to laze with a good book. Inside, the accommodation is spread across the main villa and a separate annexe and apartment, with wooden beams and exposed stonework adding country character. Those beams mean some of the sleeping spaces have limited headroom, so are probably best for little ones. For a slice of local life, visit nearby Gargnano, which has lakeside cafes and restaurants aplenty – and more of those breathtaking views we love.
*The accommodation here is split over the main villa and a separate apartment and annexe.
*One of the single beds is beneath the eaves and may feel a little cramped. We think it's best for children. One bedroom has a sofa bed.
*One of the double beds is also beneath the eaves, so headroom is limited.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking on the driveway.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*There are lots of steps here as the villa and grounds are laid out over different levels. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
