In among the original hills of Rome, The Bathhouse is completely surrounded by history. On one side, the Nero’s infamous palace – the Domus Aurea – and on the other, the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums. Its position alone would sell, but the flat itself is not underwhelming. It has lovely views, and the kitchen is pretty big for a place of its size. There’s an antique desk in the corner, which although not making as much sense as a breakfast table, is far prettier.

*There's a double sofa bed and a single futon in the living room, but three would be too many for the space
*There's a restaurant directly below the apartment so it sometimes gets a bit noisy
*The shower only reaches a height of 180cm
