Although the apartment's design isn't coherent or eye-catching throughout, it's clean, functional and extremely practical for exploring the city. The excellent shopping street, Passeig de Gracia is just two streets away, and La Dreta de l'Eixample neighbourhood boasts the highest concentration of Modernist buildings in Bacrelona. Stroll through the streets and discover works by Antoni Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner, Puig i Cadafalch and countless others and marvel at the beautifully ornate cornices and gigantic doorways at every turn.
*There is no step-free access, you'll have to climb ten steps to reach the lift

*It is very sparsely decorated and the walls will seem bare and characterless to some

*Without a home guidance manual, be prepared for some guesswork involved when working the appliances

*One of the balcony doors does not open properly and needs fixing

*We might have overly high standards when it comes to toiletries but the complementary ones provided here were particularly under par

* While this home can accommodate four, guests three and four will be sleeping in a sofa bed
