Although the apartment isn't especially large, the owners have made excellent use of the space. The spotlessly clean and dynamic living room is dotted with stylish – but not overbearing – design pieces, and the mirror in the kitchen makes it feel dramatically more spacious. And, with an exceptionally fast wifi speed, a brand new air-conditioning unit, and five individual balconies (yes, really!) facing onto sunny Cadiz street, it's easy to see why guests keep coming back.

*Although it's on the ground floor, there's no step-free access to this home, and the entrance itself is dark and somewhat neglected

*Light sleepers beware – as this home is in a central neighbourhood with five balconies, it's likely that you'll hear noise from the street below

*There's only one proper bedroom so guests three and four would be on a sofa-bed in the living room

*One of the lightbulbs inside the bedroom wardrobe is not working

*Aside from the TV, there are very few entertainment options – no books, cards or board games are available

*There are no cooking ingredients – like salt, oil and pepper – in the kitchen, you'll have to buy the basics yourself
