There’s something wonderfully comforting about Panzerotto. It’s a family home, and wears that distinction with pride. If you’re keen on a pristine, uncluttered environment, it’ll give you fits, but the flat has far more personality than any of the clinical places that are designed purely to be rented out. As you’d expect, the kitchen is very good and feels like it could handle pretty much anything, and while the sloped ceiling upstairs is a bit of a pain, it’s part of the fabric of the flat, which wouldn’t be the same without it.

*A lovely setter lives here most of the time – she won't be around, but if you suffer from allergies you might notice
*The main bedroom is upstairs, and is tucked into an alcove
*The downstairs bedroom is designed for a child, but a second bed can be set up and joined with the first to form a makeshift double
*Emanuele and his family live here most of the time, so it has the feel of a lived-in home, and their belongings are about the place
*One person can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room
