Cedofeita is slightly off the beaten track, but still a part of Porto's busy city centre. After you pass the neighbourhood's cosy cafes and art galleries, you'll quickly get to the riverside and other central sights. Fernando \u0026 Amalia is a simple, immaculate home with ample natural light and high-quality furniture. The building faces a busy street, which is great if you want to grab a taxi – but the communal areas are a little noisy with the windows open. We did, however, like the Porto-inspired art prints in the living room.
* There are several steps leading to the elevator – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases take note
* Unlike the insides of this home, the entrance to the building could do with a facelift
* The ceiling is a little low
* The dining table only has five chairs
* We'd recommend bringing your own toiletries, as well as basics such as tea and coffee
