A vineyard view isn’t what you expect from an apartment in the heart of Rome, but that’s what you get at this home. The study (or second bedroom) overlooks the vines of Rome’s Botanic Gardens, as though you’re in Tuscany or Chianti rather than the hip suburb of Trastevere. Bars and local trattoria fills the buzzing streets, but this apartment is a haven of calm amidst it all. The interior is a modern medley of soft green and grey, while the exterior boasts the traditional wooden shutters of medieval Italy. Big, arched doors in the master bedroom open up to a private terrace, dappled with greenery and set up with a couple of deckchairs and a drinks table. There’s also a terrace off the living room, with dining for four – perfect for an aperitivo before hitting the bars of Trastevere.
*The second bedroom doubles as a study with a single bed and an additional bed available
*There's an additional living room with a kitchenette and sofa bed
*There is no parking, but you're within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants and the tram to central Rome
*There's no TV in the living room but there's a flatscreen in the master bedroom giving this place more of a studio apartment feel
*The home may feel smaller than the pictures depict
*While we love the overall design of this home, it is lacking in natural light
