The large bedrooms both have plenty of storage space and a workspace, but it's the bathrooms that take your breath away with their frameless glass and suave grey tiling. Step out the front door and Lincoln's Inn Fields stands before you — here, there's a small square to wander about, tennis courts to book out and the inimitable Sir John Soane's Museum to look around. If a visit there gets you in the mood for more ancient artefacts, The British Museum is only ten minutes' walk up the road.
