Famous for its open-air cinema just a few minutes away, days here are typically spent sprawled out on Kamari Beach (a thirteen-minute walk) or wandering along the cafe-lined promenade. There are plenty of seaside restaurants and local tavernas to discover, but if you fancy a walk, trek up the rocky cliffs to the top of Mesa Vouno and explore the chalky ruins of Ancient Thira – trust us, the climb is worth it for the views.
