The villa is down the road from Kokkino Chorio, a traditional Cretan village with a smattering of beautiful churches, a handy supermarket, and local tavernas serving traditional Greek fare. You are less than a kilometre from stunning coastline, where there are many pristine beaches and cave systems to explore by boat, including the famous Elephant Cave, a diving spot for the intrepid amongst the group.
