Sitting in a privileged position above the rolling waves of the Atlantic, this laidback and inviting home is an excellent choice for a solo traveller or couple looking for a cosy base on the island of La Palma. We loved the considered use of colour, especially the wash of warm tangerine in the bedroom and the vibrant splash of azure in the living space.

You’ll begin your mornings with breakfast at the bistro set on your internal patio before heading onto the balcony to bask in a cool ocean breeze. When it’s time to stretch your legs, slip on your sandals and take the ten-minute stroll to the black sands of Santa Cruz de la Palma Beach. Or if you’re keen to soak up a little culture, visit the Balcones de la Avenida Marítima and the Calle O’Daly, no more than a fifteen-minute walk from your building.
