The exposed stone walls draw you back to ancient Greece, with the cosy furniture adding a warm and inviting feel. We can't imagine you'll be spending much time inside, but the cool stone walls make it the perfect place to take a break from the baking sun. The neutral and inviting interiors continue into the spacious bedrooms, all complete with a balcony or terrace and a captivating sea view. And while the inside of the home is beautiful, it's the outside that takes it to the next level. Spend your days lounging by the colbalt blue pool, looking over the sprawling gardens. Lounge by the pool until you need a quick dip in the water, or relax on the swinging hammock.

When you need some time in the shade, head up to the terrace, playing cards around the table and wondering if it's time for a nice cold drink. Alfresco lunches are lovely around the table, with the sea in sight. Or, make the ten minute walk to Mounda Beach for something to eat and an afternoon swim in the sea. There are a few snack bars and tavernas to keep you going. If you keep an eye out, you might spot an endangered loggerhead turtle that call this beach home.

After an afternoon spent on the sand and splashing in the sea, take the leisurely walk back through the trees before returning home tanned and freckly. When it comes to dinnertime, you're less than a ten minute drive to the traditional town of Skala. Walk the cobbled streets, popping into souvenir shops along the way, before settling in to a taverna for the night. Or, let the barbecue at home take care of dinner as you watch the breathtaking sunset from the comfort of your own terrace.
