There’s a playground for little ones to tire themselves out in – as well as the pool – and there are two separate lounges so you can dedicate one to toys and kids’ movies, and keep one for yourselves. Bright and cheerful, this villa boasts charming touches like a vegetable patch that you’re welcome to pick from. It’s out in the Cretan countryside so it’s peaceful and pretty, but you’ll need a car to get around. You can drive to the sandy beaches and hustle and bustle of Rethymnon in ten minutes though, so you’re not completely out in the sticks.
