Welcome to this cosy retreat, surrounded by age-old olive trees. Time seems to have stopped here – the traditional exterior and interiors hark back to a bygone era, and we love the open fireplace. Sure, like most older homes, this place has its quirks. But you do have mod cons like a beautiful swimming pool, an outdoor stereo system, barbecue and kitchen area. The garden is a paradise – our favourite spot has to be the vine-covered gazebo. If you can tear yourself away, explore the nearby Castellana Grotte or head to the coast.
*We recommend having a car to make the most of your stay exploring the nearby towns in the area.
*The second bedroom can be configured as a twin bedroom.
*The air conditioning is only available in the upstairs bedroom.
*The stairs to the second bedroom are a little steep. For guests with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom.
*The owner lives in the neighbouring home but will respect total privacy. They only share the driveway.
*At full occupancy, the indoor areas can feel a little snug.
