EXCEPTIONAL WONDERFUL STAY OF 50 NIGHTS. No words can describe McNest and the gracious hosts Melita and Victor. They are a marvellous couple who have lived in Germany and so maintain their home to European standards. Their home is a 6th floor flat in the Uttorayon housing complex, a veritable oasis of peace, calm and greenery. This is perhaps one of the best housing complex in Eastern India. A massive City Centre Mall is just 14 minutes walk away. If you leave the OUT gate, cross the main road and take the first right at a cobbled small lane, walk straight for a few minutes passing some building sites and lovely bungalows on the way till you read a proper road with a sign on the right saying A 10. Turn right, walk straight till ;you arrive at the large City Centre Mall which has Pizza Hut, Dominoes, KFC and all the shopping brands that you wish. On the lower floor, you can find reasonably priced small eateries etc. Victor the host is an all rounder good at everything. He prepares fantastic food with different cuisines, has lived and travelled all over the world, plays the guitar and Yamaha synthesizer and is a hands on guy great at everything. Melita is outgoing and friendly with a contagious laughter. She was earlier working with a Canadian firm, has family all over the world and has lots of international experience. I highly recommend this homestay. They will offer you guidance on travel to Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Gangtok and Nepal. Keep it up dear Victor and Melita. Thanks for everything. I enjoyed every moment of my stay with you.
