It was a really lovely stay. All family members were friendly and helpfull and alan gave some good tips where to go and what to do. We could also choose what we want for breakfast and we were allowed to use the kitchen and laundry. Thank you so much :)

This is an excellent place to stay! Alan and Freda were very welcoming and gave great recommendations about places to eat and things to do in Santa Clarita. Their house was clean, well kept, and the beds in their guest rooms are extremely comfy. The neighborhood they live in is quiet, and there is ample street parking. They live very close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Their house is perfect for extended stays, since you can use their kitchen to cook so you don't have to eat out all the time, and they let you use their their laundry machines. Regardless of how long you're in Santa Clarita for, this is a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to all.

Freda and Alan were the most gracious hosts to us. I am completely committed to name them as "Superhosts". My wife Dipika and I stayed in this most beautiful and comfortable homestay for more than 2 weeks before, during and after our son's graduation at CalArts, often returning at the most awkward hours, never for a moment did we feel out of place or away from home. We were allowed to use the kitchen like our own using all their pots and pans and even their oils and spice! The neighbourhood was most pretty, quiet and all along felt extremely safe. Freda and Alan had the most important and helpful tips for us regarding stores to do our shopping from and places to visit and enjoy in and around Santa Clarita. We have tasted the most lovely coffee at their house, the supply of which overwhelmed us. Overall we would never have expected better!

I stayed at Alan's place for 5 days and it was wonderful. It is a peaceful home, clean, smoke-free, pet-free, and quiet. I slept better than I have in years in the Sleep Number Bed in my guest room. The room and private bathroom was in excellent condition, smelled great with clean linens and everything that you would need to be comfortable for any amount of time. Alan is a very pleasant host with great conversation and a warm and friendly demeanor. I would recommend him as a host to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area.

Alan was an incredible and hand's on host. His daughter greeted us and when we ran into him, it was always a pleasure. He was such a thoughtful host and in our room was detailed printed information about the area, restaurants and more. He even asked what we would like for our light breakfast and bought it for us. Perfect host!

Staying at Alan's place is absolutely wonderful. I stayed at both rooms and enjoyed it thoroughly my stay with him. Alan is a very kind and genuine person who is very open minded and loves to have a good conversation. His family is always around and are extremely genuine. He also provides some great places to eat (like Egg Plantation which is fantastic) and at one point we both went together to eat. It was fantastic and extremely hospitable! The room(s) themselves were very good. Clean, comfortable and modern. There is a fantastic TV in both rooms and the doors are very secure. There is plenty of space and it's in a quiet neighborhood so you won't experience much if any noise! The bathroom's are good and there are plenty of places to go. Albertson's is nearby but the Valencia Mall is a good 10 mins by car and is awesome. Probably one of the best mall's I've been too! There is also a fantastic cinema nearby and a great gym. I would recommend this room to students who need a good place to stay for their internship or someone running on budget for a business trip. It's a terrific deal and worth the price! Thanks again Alan! Can't wait to hear from you again!

Wonderful stay - well-appointed room (the sleep number bed was SO comfortable!) with plenty of storage to unpack into, all the amenities available (bathroom across the hall and full access to the kitchen!), and a more than welcoming host. It was nice to have a place to call home during my whirlwind weekend, rather than a cold and isolated hotel room.

Alan and Freda were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as it could be by providing us a list of restaurants to visit, making sure we have breakfast items readily available, loaned us picnic towels to make a few. Nestled in a quiet residential area, their home was very welcoming and super close to six flags magic mountain, a very convenient area indeed with Valencia town center mall etc within a few miles. We highly recommend this spot to all visiting Santa Clarita and we will definitely be back
