Perfect location to visit Matanzas, less than 30 minutes from Varadero airport. Lovely house and warm welcome.

Wat een geweldige casa was die van Danae en haar man Felix! Zeer mooi, artistiek en praktisch ingericht. Ook de binnentuin waar we een fantastisch ontbijt (tegen een meerprijs) kregen, had mooie beplanting en een bad waar we gebruik van konden maken. We zouden het iedereen aanraden om er te verblijven.

Sehr sauber, nett und einfach unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Gebäude und die Zimmer sind noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Für mich der perfekte Einstieg in meine Reise. Ich komm wieder.

Danae and Felix were simply lovely hosts! They were gracious and welcoming and had many suggestions for activities and restaurants in Matanzas and the surrounding area. We loved their suggestion to take a day trip to La Arboleda - some of the best authentic Cuban food we had all trip long! Every morning we had a delicious breakfast to begin our day. And, of course, we adored Elisa! Gracias por todo, Danae y Felix!

The rooms are really beautiful, clean and quiet. Danae has 2 lovely small children and has been a very good guide to us. Thanks for the tip at the river. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely time at the house of Danae, Felix and their lovely children. Danae was incredibly helpful arranging taxis, and she also booked another great casa for us in Santa Clara. The beautifully renovated house has spacy, light and clean rooms and the courtyard has a small pool, which is so incredibly pleasant after a hot day in the city. The breakfasts are excellent too! This is the place to stay in Matanzas.

Though we only spent one night at Danae's place, we had a great time. The house is fantastic, very close to the centre and yet quiet, the room was really nice, clean and spacious and Danae was a great host! I warmly recommend this beautiful "casa particular"!

If you need a place in Matanzas, stay here! First of all: the house is beautiful. Exactly like in the pictures. No need to say more. The rooms are clean, bright, the sheets smell good, you got a hairdryer in the bathroom as well as conditioner and a nice shower gel (really great when you are backpacking as we did). Breakfast was also delicious. But Danae is even more lovely than the house. Loved her. Smart, funny, sophisticated and very Helpful when you need to know something or need to get anything. She speaks English, so no worries if your Spanish is as bad as ours :) Thank u for everything:)
