Wij zijn een familie van vier, die in een 6 bedhuis in Stepaside, aan de zuidenkant van Dublin, met onze twee zonen 18/21 leven. Ons huis is zeer dicht aan de Berg van Drie Rots die wij houden van te onderzoeken en de jongensliefde cirkelend (berg het biking en weg) onder andere openluchtactiviteiten. Het is ook zeer toegankelijk voor de stad door luas of bus die binnen minieme gang 8 is. Wij hebben een grote keuken met open planeetkamer en woonkamer. Er zijn een mooie tuin en rond grote meningen allen. Nabijgelegen Stepaside, is zeer quaint weinig dorp dat een landelijk gevoel met mooie restaurants, een bar en winkels heeft.

Good host family. I never had any problem with them, they are quite funny and friendly. Always there to help you with your English or to give you advice to get accommodation or a job. I was very happy with them and I would advise everyone to have this great family

Lovely time with Joan and her family. They are excellent hosts, always willing to help you. It was my first time with a host family and I felt at home. The house and the room are very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, also very well connected to the city center by Luas. In a nutshell, my experience in Dublin was amazing and I am so thankful for Joan and her family.

I spent three and a half months in Ireland with this host family. I was very well received and I felt at ease with them very quickly. I will never forget what they did for me and I will miss them all very much. I hope to see them again one day and I wish them all the best for the future :)

Joan's family are magnificent human beings, very welcoming people who treat you with great tenderness. Joan as a host is marvelous but as a person she is simply fantastic. All the members of the family and she offered me the best advice and suggestions to move around the city. I am very content to have lived my first month in Ireland with all of them. I give my highest recommendation to this host family. Do not hesitate to contact Joan when in Dublin for suitable accommodation, the rooms are simply perfect, clean and well equipped.

I had a wonderful time staying with Joan. The family is very kind and welcoming and the house is lovely and clean. The room is spacious and has plenty of storage space as well, and there's a desk for studying/work and a small fridge. The neighborhood is very nice too: it's quiet and green, and there's a few parks nearby where you can go for a walk (e.g. the Fernhill park, I really enjoyed going there as it has some great views and nature). The house is ~10 minutes walking from the Luas, which takes you to the city centre in about ~20 minutes. I did this most days and found it a very comfortable, quick and easy way to get around. I'd definitely recommend staying with Joan!

The adorable house & room was just as described. It was very peaceful, cozy, inviting.. plenty of space for all my things and also there is a fridge in the bedroom (ideal!) the neighborhood as well is very nice with parks and beautifuls lands ideal for walks. With supermarkets, pharmacies, and transport stops near the house. But the best of all is Joan and her lovely family, they are so friendly, helpful and welcoming that make you feel "at home" all the time. She was quick to respond to questions & always giving her best trying to help me. I loved staying here, I would gladly come back again and hope to do so in the future. Highly recommend!
