Me ha gustado mucho mi estancia en la casa de Lola. La casa es cómoda, la ubicación conveniente. Pero más que nada lo bueno fue encontrar a Lola, una persona amable, inteligente, servicial y tranquila. Fue un placer hablar con ella. Gracias Lola! I really liked my stay in Lola's house. The house is comfortable, the location convenient. But more than anything the good part was meeting Lola, a friendly, smart, helpful, and calm person. It was a pleasure talking with her. Pasar tres semanas en casa de Lola fue como estar en casa para mí. Desde el principio Lola me ayudó en todo lo que necesitaba como si fuera mi madre y nunca me hizo sentir sola. La casa de Lola es preciosa, grande, tranquila, fresca y limpia, está situada en un barrio tranquilo y seguro que permite llegar fácilmente a cualquier parte de la ciudad. Pasamos con Lola unos días preciosos en Sevilla y también fuera de Sevilla, Lola es una persona siempre servicial, amable, dulce, simpática y de verdad lo hemos pasado muy bien juntas. Agradezco a Lola todos los hermosos momentos que hemos pasado juntos y que siempre recordaré con mucho cariño.

If there is one home you have to choose for home stay in Seville - it's Lola's. Lola is kind , generous, and has an enormous knowledge to share with you about history, events, transportation, cheep places to shop and dine, exc... She is patient and always happy to talk - the best way to practice spanish. Her home is so clean, and she is most sensetive to one`s needs. I've stayed there for 2 weeks and intend to come back . I came for home stay and found a true friend whom a apppriciate so much

I booked a week in this homestay in Seville between 12 and 19 June. I paid for the week, (altogether some 184 euros) but I simply had to leave her house after 3 nights and rather chose losing my money than continuing staying in that place. Had had no special expectations when I booked. Friendly atmosphere, kind communication, is the important point for me. This is what the „homestay idea” is about, I guess. However, seemingly, even homestay hosts have both bad and good days. If so, I got her worst days. All that week it was 45 celsius in Seville one simply died without a fan. When on arrival, I realized there was no fan in my tiny-tiny, about 7 square-meter, very basic single room, asked the hostess if she could place one in there, so that I could sleep at night. She promised it but an hour later she changed her mind and told me that the fan she had for the guests is being used by another person in another room. I was surprised. Then she said in a sharp tone: Listen, this is not a hotel. This is my home, my house. And added: You seem too demanding! Finally she changed her mind again, still brought me one, stressing pretty irritatedly that the fan was from her own sitting room, in her private use, and her gesture was an exception. I thanked but felt very bad both about the tone and the content. The next day I decided to talk to her about this quietly as it would have been hard to live in this kind of tension she created. I stressed that I did and would respect the house rules and asked her for mutual respect. She said: oh, well, yesterday I probably had a bad day... Anyway, I thought the tension was gone after this. At least I believed so. As in these two days, I was out of the house from morning till late evening, we hardly met and talked much. And then, on the third morning, she asked me to go to the bathroom with her. She seemed very tense again. She pointed at the toilet seat. What have you done? - she asked me again in a very sharp tone. First I really did not understand what she meant. Indeed, at some points, there was some light-blueish coloring or spots on the white plastic, which, I suddenly remembered having seen the day before. And then, she could not be stopped. In an incredibly self-sure tone she continued: I am cleaning this bathroom day and night and you make me this damage! I honestly even now have no idea what she imagined..Did she perhaps think I had bought somewhere some blue paint to paint her toilet seat? Or while using the toilet, my skin might be radiating something light blue? And why is she blaming or, more precisely, accusing me while at least 3 persons share that bathroom, anyway? But my Spanish is too poor to express all this by finding the right words. I found her monologue extremely absurd, almost surreal in every way. Also humiliating. Got really upset and decided to leave the house as soon as I could, no matter if I will lose my money. The same day later, I packed, returned her keys and only remarked: I am moving out. She said: as you like. So it happened. Well, this is my very personal experience. However, if somebody likes taking risks and decides to stay with her, she might have her „good days”, too. Needless to say, I would never return there.

Lola est très accueillante, la location est très bonne on peut se rendre partout en centre ville en bus ou à pied. Ses conseils de visites étaient très bons, on en a bien profité. Je recommande sans réserves !
