De reeks in een fantastische plaats met grote meningen, dit plattelandshuisje is de ideale huid weg voor uw vakanties of voor zich het opnieuw vestigen. De slaapkamers zijn zeer ruim en volledig van licht, en elke slaapkamer heeft een ensuite volledige badkamers. De keuken wordt goed georganiseerd. Er zijn 7x4 meet privé zwembad. De weg die tot het bezit leiden is zeer steil in sommige delen, maar altijd gehouden in goede voorwaarden. Tevreden om me voor verdere details te contacteren, youtube video's en meer visuals.

Relaxing at Villa Carina

A beautiful villa with a calm ambience, constructed in the local vernacular with quality natural materials, and enjoying really outstanding views across a valley towards villages on neighbouring hills, in an unspoilt area. Nature abounds. Facilities in the villa are exactly what you need: good cooking equipment, sufficient chairs and loungers, washing machine and dishwasher. Mario the host is just a gem. I must admit that I expected him to be pushy with tours and additional services, but that wasn’t at all the case. He was on hand in case we needed help, and otherwise totally respectful of our privacy. I went horse riding with him and he’s an interesting and gentle character. My husband and I had a great time both relaxing at Villa Carina, and visiting the beautiful hill towns, and our son loved the pool, as well as resident cat Scarlet, who must be the friendliest feline in all of Umbria! If we had to change one thing it would only be to stay at the villa for an extra night instead of having an overnight in Rome in the sweltering August heat before heading back to Blighty - phewf!

Perfect place for relaxation!

Perfect place for relaxation! Only one Villa is near otherwise you can be by yourself. Views are absolutely amazing and nature is so beautiful. The host is excellent and helps everytime you need help.

You could not have a better host than Mario !

Villa Carina is a lovely place to spend some time. You feel very remote and out of the way, and yet places like Orvieto are easily accessible. The view of the hills and the local villages are stunning. You also could not have a better host than Mario. We had some difficulties with the electricity whilst we were here. These were totally out of Mario's control and yet he lavished us with tasty local delicacies as an apology. He was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations, activities and even invited us out to drinks and a meal with some locals. The approaching drive is not for the fainthearted but if my little VW Polo can get up it, anything can. There are still some bits that need tidying up, but we are leaving with an overwhelmingly positive view of this delightful little villa.

4 months at the villa !

Two of us spent 4 months at the villa and I can only say it was the best summer ever! The photos really don’t do it justice, the villa is very thoughtfully put together with everything you could ever need. There is a lot of space whether you are a couple of a small family. The views are simply incredible, we spent so many of our evenings sitting out on the terrace just watching the sun go down. Each night there was more drama to watch with beautiful changes in the landscape. The view I don’t think is possible to ever get bored of. Mario is literally the BEST host I have ever met, he is super responsive even before you arrive. No question is too much for Mario, he goes above and beyond to help any issue you might encounter, recommends lots of places in the local area and is just a really nice person. You cannot go wrong if you are dealing with Mario, he really makes this place even better with his local knowledge and hospitality. This is most certainly a special spot and a rare find, frankly neither of us wanted to leave and felt so at home. I so so so hope we can return to the hilltop. Thank you Mario for a truly wonderful 4 months. Ellie & Andrew

A truly unspoilt countryside

We spent a wonderful fortnight nestled deep in the valley where villa Carina can be found. This charming, rustic house is immersed in the beautiful Umbrian countryside and is perfect for lovers of nature and total peace. The house has been thoughtfully designed with spacious, well equipped rooms and bathrooms. A lovely terrace allows one to enjoy the superb views, as does the poolside area. The surrounding countryside is truly unspoilt, and on our morning walks we were able to see different types of flowers, lizards and the most wonderful array of butterflies. We were also fortunate to see a doe and her fawn, as well as hares. Mario is a charming host; he is extremely knowledgeable about the area and cares very deeply about the beautiful environment for which he is custodian. A very special place indeed.

A quiet setting in the Umbrian countryside

We spent 3 weeks with our two boys at this lovely villa. It is in a beautiful, quiet setting in the Umbrian countryside with wonderful views. It is well placed for travelling, including to Rome, and there are lots of lovely towns and villages to visit. The villa had all that we needed and the pool area is a great area to relax in, with an excellent loggia to shade under if required. The villa is lovely and cool in the evenings in summer. Mario is an excellent host, very attentive without being intrusive. On arrival there was a much appreciated welcome pack of necessities (and some luxuries!) to get the holiday started. Mario was a mine of information and nothing was too much trouble. He even sent us some lovely food one evening! We would highly recommend staying here

Lovely facility immersed in the wonderful hills of Umbria

I have enjoyed a week at this lovely facility immersed in the wonderful hills of Umbria. Mario has been a great host and everything was just perfect. The road to get there is steep, but it has not been a problem.
