Looking for a new roomie! Hello everyone! One room in our shared apartment is opening up on the 1st of October so we are on the lookout for a new roommate. The apartment is located in central Diemen, walking distance to Diemerplein (with all kinds of shops!) and the bus/tramstop Diemerbrug. Trainstation Diemen is also close by. The center is 20min by tram/bike and the neighbourhood is quite chill and calm. Registration is possible! About us We are 2 girls from Germany and the US that are studying at UvA and VU. Meslie (24) is doing her master’s in forensic sciences and Isabella (23) is doing her bachelor’s in law. We have both lived in Amsterdam for 1+ years and because of our busy schedules, are in and out of the flat a lot. What we are looking for We are looking for someone between 20 - 29, with prior experience with shared flats. Preferably a student or young professional that already knows Amsterdam and has their own life here. As we enjoy having dinner together or watch a movie from time to time, it would be great if someone joined us who also likes a bit of community from their flatmates. Further, we are looking for someone responsible that is mindful with other peoples space and things. The room / our flat The available room is 9m² and 600€ excl. (Including utilities approximately 675€). It is facing the street and has lots of natural light during the day and is the smallest room in the flat. The room is unfurnished. Our kitchen and bathroom are shared and a small balcony is also accessible through the kitchen. The apartment is further equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. We keep the apartment clean through a weekly cleaning schedule. A current project of ours is also making the apartment feel more cozy! What to do!
