Nous sommes restés deux nuits chez Alejandro et nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. Les deux chambres sont très propres,confortables, lumineuses.Le jardin est magnifique. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture de location dans son garage. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Fruits frais,oeufs,fromage. Pain et jus de mangues du jardin.Le luxe!!! Alejandro and Susana are the most hospitable hosts ever! This home was the best in all of Cuba -- everything was perfect. When we arrived, they greeted us with a lemonade and coffee in their beautiful garden. The room is spacious, with two beds. The bathroom was the clean, the shower was great. They were very helpful in recommending a guide for our excursions and making sure we were in good hands (especially as two young women travelers). They prepared for us fresh multi-course dinners, using fresh herbs from their garden. Best breakfast and meals in all of Cuba! All of their house staff are very helpful, too. Overall, perfect, very clean, safe, & affordable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Baracoa. They truly made our time in Baracoa special. Thanks again, Alejandro & Susana!

Our stay with Alejandro was really very nice. We slept in a clean and light room with 'private' terrace. Location very close to the centre and the breakfast was perfect. Nothing more to desire. PerfecT! Thank you.

When my husband and I travel, we generally stay in homes with the people of the country we are visiting, as this creates an amazing cultural exchange and a much “richer” experience. On occasion an experience stands out that necessitates the effort needed to find a way to send a review. Our stay at a Casa Particular in Baracoa, Cuba was one such experience. We had the good luck to book with Alejandro and Susanna. As with many homestays, the room was wonderful, but this one had a lovely little private patio and then a shared lush garden in the back that gave it an edge above others. This wonderful couple are building a few additional rooms and it is evident that the workmanship and artistry that is being used for these future, almost completed rooms will only add to the fabulous experience we had. What stood out for us was the welcome we got, the lovely interactions and the AMAZING food that Alejandro prepared for us. Although an attorney by profession, his hobby is to cook for people. I can not express how much fun we had each night anticipating the “surprise” dinner he had waiting for us upon our return to our lovely “home” each night. We are still talking about the dinners and the “best Mojitos in Cuba” that Alejandro prepared for us. Alejandro and Susanna were also very helpful in connecting us up with the best guide that we had in Cuba. Steve was engaging, educational, funny, and very helpful in supporting us in “supporting the Cuban people” category that we needed to use as a reason with the US state department to legally travel to Cuba. Out of 5 stars, I give this establishment 10 stars. Really! Alison

Our stay at Alejandro's place was really great. We loved the flowers hanging above the terrace and Alejandro and his wife made two times a very nice meal for us. Thanks! The only comment we have, is that the airco was a bit noisy.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ein wunderschönes zu Hause, dass gerne mit den Gästen geteilt wird. Haben dort auch lecker zu Abend gegessen. :)

We had a fantastic time with Alejandro and Susana, such lovely people. They have clean and very spacious rooms and the breakfast is very good. We also recommend to stay at the casa for dinner, because Alejandro is such a good cook.
