I really enjoyed my stay in Casa Yolanda! The room and the ensuite were both spacious and with a lovely modern design. The optional breakfast was also good. It takes about 20 minutes to get to varadero beach - 10 minutes in a bicycle taxi and then a 10 minute walk. There is a small shop very close to the house as well as a cafeteria.

One of the rooms wasn't finished and had a half built fish tank. The host was a lady named Tadah (I think), Thomas was not around. The breakfast was sub par and the lady wouldn't order a taxi when we asked even though the advert lists taxi prices. We were catching the 8am bus back to Havana and informed this lady that we would leave at 6:30 and she understood but when we left at 6:30am the big steel gates were padlocked and we were effectively trapped in the property. We had to throw our bags over a wall and climb over onto rocks as there was nobody in the house. I lost my balance and badly injured my eye after hitting a sharp rock. I would not recommend this Casa to anybody.
