If homestay allows us to rate this place with more than 5 hearts, we would definitely do that. It was not only one host, the whole family was amazing. You will feel directly at home during your stay. They helped us with everything: we visited a baseball match (amazing experience!), the hostfamily served a delicious breakfast and diner, but the most important fact: they were one of the nicest people we've met during our 4-week stay in Cuba. If its possible to start a friendship within 2 days, here you can. An example of the wonderful service: we arrived by the bus at 2:00 am, and they arranged a taxi by night. If you read this: we would thank you all for our stay!

La casa de Norma es una de las mas bonitas donde nos hemos alojado. Norma nos preparó un muy rico desayuno y una cena abundante y deliciosa. Una familia encantadora de conversación muy agradable. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad!

If you go to Sancti Spiritus, I can definitely recommend you stay here. The family is genuinely polite and helpful and I considered the location ideal. The very well maintained house is located 5 minutes walking from the Viazul terminal and walking from the city center takes only 12-20 minutes (depending on your route and pace). So, really a perfect location. In terms of the room, mine was modern, clean, had an airco and fan, a comfortable bed, a safe, sufficient space for one's stuff and a modern bathroom with a good shower, towels and a (not always provided) bar of soap. The house's entrance is a garden, where one can sit under mango trees in a well-maintained environment. The hosts are educated, hospitable people with whom I had nice conversations. Absolutely a high recommendation rating from me.

Due to problems with the watertank we could not stay here but they provided us with a great alternative. The room was great and the walk to city centre passed through the zoo.

A short time before we arrived at Norma's house we got the message that there was a problem and we were redirected to another casa in the neighbourhood.

It's only about 1 km from the bus station and a walkable distance to the city center. It lies in a street with barely no traffic. They are friendly and try to help you in any way to give you a pleasant stay. I guess one of their rooms is a bit older, but mine was nice and very clean. And a bathroom with a real hot and powerful shower. You can relax on their terrace with a view on the beautiful garden. I guess they normally serve only full breakfast at additional cost, but it's sure good value. And dinner is delicious too with a variety on food. Surely one of the best rooms I had in Cuba!

We stayed at Norma Belen's hostel for one night and it was great!!! The hosts were so welcoming and kind, the food was so good and the hostel itself, villa belen was really nice: the rooms were clean and comfortable! Ramon , Norma s son arranged everything for us to be comfortable, such a nice person and such a pleasant stay! I would highly recommend this place when you stay in the gorgeous city of sancti spiritus!
