Lilleam is a very good host. She knows her neighborhood well. She knows Havana well. The location is wonderful. 10 walking distance from the house is a farmers market with fresh ripe fruits, 2 bakeries, many restaurants; the tourist bus ($10 per day pass) is also 2 block away, but you will need to flag it; Casa de Musica Miramar is about 15 min walking distance and it has concerts every night. The house is decorated like Hermitage, clean, pleasant. The street is quiet. Miramar is best place to stay in Havana.

Lilleam was the perfect host and we had a great time in Havana. The apartment is a taxi ride away from the old city (about 5-10$/ 10-15min) in a quiet residential neighborhood. Both rooms we had were super clean, had an AC and their own bathroom. Lilleam speaks great English, was very helpful (when arranging cars to the bus station/ airport etc.) and it was a pleasure to be able to stay at her house. We would definitely stay with her again next time we are in Havana.

I had the most wonderful stay at Lilleam's Casa. Lillean is the perfect hostess, she is very worldly and speaks several languages well. She was helpful in telling me about Cuban history, Cuban arts and more. I was able to easily get around Havana and chose other fantastic cities, to visit, in Cuba due to her guidance. Breakfasts prepared by Nani were wholesome and wonderful. I recommend Lilleam, her Casa ..as well as the Playa area. Good economical restaurants, shopping , bus and taxi service. I stayed in the little upstairs room off the garden patio area..What a lovely solitary beautiful space' Patricia Ashley

Lilleam was the perfect combination of being available for help if I needed, and leaving me to do my own thing. Her casa is in a quiet neighbourhood with a couple small restaurants nearby. Lilliam told me how to get around the neighborhood and gave me very good instructions on how to take the local bus to Old Havana. My room was perfect. It was very simple but had everything that one would need. Her helper, Nana made a delicious breakfast for only 3CUC. I was traveling alone, and for I retired lady it was just perfect I recommend Lilleam's Casa for singles who want to be quiet, as well as for couples and Families. Thank you lilleam!

Lilleam is a very nice people and hospitable, and she will support you for all you need: touristic points information, directions, tips, etc. Simple, safe and quiet place, next to a few commerce, restaurants, exchange, and tourist bus to access the Plaza Central, makes a pleasant stay.
