Hello en onthaal om mijn homestay te bekijken. Ik heb een mooi en zeer comfortabel familiehuis in Shiga. Ons huis is gevestigde 30mins vanaf Kyoto door trein. Ik heb een comfortabele privé ruimte beschikbaar met een eenpersoonsbed. Ik leef met mijn echtgenoot en twee honden. Mijn echtgenoot en ik kan het geen Engels spreken, maar wij worden open-ontgonnen. Ook heb ik een dochter en haar Australische jongensvriend die in Hokkaido leven, en zij kunnen ons helpen als wij nodig hebben. Wij zouden rijpe en eerbiedige vrouwelijke student verkiezen die met ons ontspannend huishouden kan passen. Gelieve te voelen vrij om me te contacteren. Het zou groot om over de kans zijn te spreken. My stay was beyond perfect I had such a great time with Kanna, Fumi and the whole family, I think we will definitely see each other as friends now Ps: Kanna was really patient and a great ?? (teacher) when I tried to speak with my little Japanese. ???????!?????

Kanna-san, everyone from her immediate family and extended family are so incredibly kind, generous and wonderful people who are willing to share their time and made me feel like I was a part of their family. I was made to feel so comfortable and welcome during my 2 month stay and I will never forget the amazing times we had. Kanna-san’s house is lively and friendly with family often coming to stay and lots of opportunity to talk, laugh, eat together and get to know each other. I took the opportunity to share and learn Kanna-san’s home cooking as much as possible and it is delicious! Moriyama is a small city with everything you could need, I loved it! It is only a 30min train trip into central Kyoto and the trains come frequently. Kanna-san’s house is an easy 30min walk from the train station or you could borrow a bike or take a bus. There is a large supermarket across the road and convenience stores within 10-15min walk for ATMs. The library is only a 15-20min walk away with study desks if you need them. Biking to Lake Biwa takes about 30mins and was always a joy, such a beautiful place! I would highly recommend a homestay with Kanna-san and her family, I had a wonderful 2 months with them and I didn’t want to leave! To Kanna-san, Fumi-san, Shota-kun, Mako-chan, Ouka-chan, Hadzuki-chan, Ojii-chan, Ojii-chan & Obaa-chan (& neighbours!), Hiroyuki-san, and the whole family, from the bottom of my heart thank you so so so much for everything and for being my friends. I will treasure the time we spent together forever and will always hope to see you all again

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. This was my first homestay experience and I was a bit anxious. However, Kanna, Fumi and the rest of the Echigo family were all very lovely and made me feel at home right away. Everyone was very helpful and was very eager to show me around Shiga, giving me tips on where to go and what to do, etc. Kanna is an excellent cook and an excellent Kansai-ben teacher (?????!) and I learn a lot from her. I'll definitely miss her cooking :') 2 weeks went by very quickly but I hope to be back again soon! ???????????????? ??????~
