Wanneer het bezoeken Panadura die ik hoogst heb geadviseerd blijvend in Panadura/Wadduwa. Het werkelijk is de beste plaats om een echt aroma van het ware leven te krijgen Panadura. Het is vijf minuten loopt aan mooi zandig strand. Ook is het huis vrij dicht aan faciliteiten zoals restaurants, winkelcomplexxen, bars en vervoer. Ik ben gelukkig om u sommige uiteinden te geven om van uw reis in Panadura/Wadduwa te genieten. Ik heb 3 Dubbele romms beschikbaar met Koelkast, Spiegel, Radio, en Bureau en Lamp. Wij zijn familie met 3 jonge geitjes. Wij hebben dichtbij 2 huizen.

I must say i was disappointed, because the pictures of house and rooms presented on the homestay booking profile do not represent the reality. The pictures raise expectations only to disappoint. I suggest Saminda uploads the real pictures of their home and rooms. Other than that Saminda and his family were kind and helpful. The only thing is, i felt mislead.

This home was very nice to stay in. The family was so kind, and always made nice meals. The children are a lot of fun! It is back up in the jungle a little in a residential neighborhood in Malamulla West, about a 20 minute walk into Panadura, or about 3-5 minutes by tuk-tuk. The address listed on the website was incorrect when I first booked, so I wound up staying much farther away from Colombo than I had originally hoped to, but it wound up working out alright as I got to stay in a rural area home and have that experience. This home is also a host home for a volunteer abroad organization and there is usually a volunteer staying in the other bedroom. They were really kind and on their days off from volunteering, usually wanted to hang out.

I had a very good time in the family of Saminda and Geethika. At first I was planning to stay there only six nights but then I decided to stay five more nights over there. I enjoyed being in their home very much. Every family member was very friendly and treated me with respect. The atmosphere was very heartily and welcomed. Though I was travelling on my own as a woman and safety is an important feature. Over there I felt all the time very safe. Additionally the room was comfortable and clean. There is also one fan and mosquito net inside. It was no problem to take the bus to go to Panadura from where you will find easily some more buses to different destinations (f.e. Colombo, Galle, Kandy…). So I can definitely recommend staying there!

I have now been here for 5 nights and have settled in well. The family and children are friendly and it is a nice atmosphere. My room is clean, tidy and spacious with a fan and mosquito net. I type this on their computer and there is a clean bathroom and shower. Tyey will make meals to your taste for a reasonable charge. By slow bus, Panadura the local town, is 1.5hours south of Colombo, but there is an express bus and train. The fare is only Rs.70. The local bus to P. takes 15 minutes and only costsRs.10. Panadura is on the main road south/north as the train station. It a bustling town with an excellent market and, I am pleased to say, very few tourists. I hope to return here after travelling around S.L. I would reccomend here to anyone who does NOT want to be in a busy town or swim in the sea, although the beach is beautiful. Adrian

Saminda is a very accommodative and helpful host and his place is a quiet retreat for one and all, very peaceful and good countryside. Facilities are very good and we have no hesitation to recommend. If someone has a transport it is fine otherwise one can easily adjust to public transport to the city
