Wij leven in een zeer mooie, stille en ontspannende plaats. Zijn het grenzen het landelijke dorp. Deze bungalow is 65 jaar oud en goed gehandhaafd. Zijn geroepen „Yalegoda Walauwa“ het heeft een historisch aspect. Zeer grote mooie tuin rond de bungalow. Naast het tuinmahonie omringen de bomen. Zeer oud meer dichtbij langs. Zijn het lopen afstand. Zijn verstrekt water om de padiegebieden te irrigeren. Het Station van de Verbinding van Peradeniya is ongeveer 2 kmts vanaf ons huisverblijf. Het vergt ongeveer 10 minuten. Is de Botanische tuinen van Peradeniya 2 1/2 km vanaf onze plaats en Tempel van het tandoverblijfsel en het kandy stadscentrum ongeveer 7km vanaf de bungalow. De oude en historische tempels zijn ongeveer 3km van onze plaats. Embakke, Gadaladeniya, oude tempels Lankathilaka zeer dicht aan ons. (5 kmts) Pinnawela (20 kmts) Het vergt één uur van onze homestay. Nuwaraeliya (53 kmts) Het vergt slechts 1 1/2 uren van onze homestay. Wij verstrekken ook vervoer. Wij geven naar huis gemaakt kwaliteitsvoedsel (Sri Lanka/Westelijk)

Shyami and Nihal and their staff really made us feel at home every minute of our 9 day stay. The house with the aristocratic furniture is beautifull, the garden with its magnificent flowers in the midst of so many birdsounds form the forest is like a paradise. Shyami prepared delicious meals that were everyday a real treat. And Nihal went a very long way to answer all our questions on Sri Lankan history, nature and culture and told many tell interesting story. His suggestions for excursions were excellent and he organized them very well, making sure that we were not exploited by tourist-sharks. The spacious room-en-suite with the balcony (above the carport) was clean and the bed comfortable. For us this was a true 'homestay' of high quality and very good value. Thank you Nihal and Shyami for your great warmth and care and good service !!!

We absolutely loved our time spent at Shyami and Nihal's homestay not far outside of Kandy. We loved the serenity of the property. We stayed in the family villa and it was very comfortable and had a lovely front verandah overlooking the gardens. The gardens are very beautiful and the food was delicious and plentiful. We were made to feel very welcome and part of the family during our stay. The family were very helpful with advice and had a driver available to take us where we wanted to go. We would love to return one day! Thanks very much Shyami and Nihal. Highly recommended!

Wow what can I say, I am so happy I chose this homestay! My room was super comfortabel and clean, and the hosts are very warm and welcoming and made me feel very much at home and part of the family. The garden is beautiful and quite large with plenty of spaces to relax and meditate or read. It´s a nice quiet area and not too far from Kandy City. The homemade food was also delicious. I can recommend staying here 100%.

Fabulous spot with fabulous hosts. They went out of their way to pick us up at the railway station (without us asking). The property is pristine and the food delicious. Highly recomend!

Choosing Shyami aunty & Nihal uncle home I think was meant to happen when me & my 3 friends decided on a holiday to this country. They are the best and the warmest hosts anyone can ask for. We traveled as 3 girls and they were so cautious about our comfort and safety during the stay. It didn't feel like we were meeting them for the first time; such is their hospitality that all of us were totally comfortable. They give you an equal mix of enjoying your privacy and also keeping you engaged in wonderful conversations sharing a lot of their experiences about the country and otherwise. The home truly deserves a special mention - it is soo beautifully done up and very well maintained and is a perfect choice for a tranquil holiday! And not to forget their handsome dog Kelly, such a darling he is! You cannot miss not falling in love with the people, their home and their lovely pet. Will definitely recommend people to plan your stay here! Thank you so much for the beautiful memories we brought back! :-)

We had a warm welcome. In the first instant, we felt like at home. We thank Nihal and Shyami for theirs advices about visiting in Sri Lanka. They organize our outputs throught the TUK TUK (with a good driver :-) ) Room was clean and in the heart of nature. We ate very good food. Finally, we lived unforgettable instant with this family and if we can evaluate with 6 OR 7 hearts, we will give all of hearts !!! Thanks you for evrything :)
