I very much appreciated the comfort and the loveliness of Valeria's apartment. It is located in a very picturesque and lively area of Naples, near the narrow streets of the city and at a walking distance of the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, Piazza Dante and most of the beauties of this fantastic city of Naples. I had a beautiful view of the bay and the sea from my window and balcony. In this beautiful summer weather, the sky was always dazzlingly blue, and although it was stifling hot, there was air conditioning in the bedroom. I could therefore close the windows at night, keep cool and avoid the persistant noise from the traffic and (also very important), hold the mosquitoes at bay! After day long outings discovering the city, (most of the time around 10km on foot), a nice sleep was very welcome and necessary!!! Valeria keeps the apartment very clean and everything in the kitchen and bathroom was in perfect working order. I had access to everything I needed (like the washing machine), however I had difficulty finding them at first, which is normal when you are in a new home where everything is new and different. I think Valeria should have been a little more helpful and hospitable in that sense, as most mediterranean ladies, especially of my same generation, would be!! I would also like to add that I was a little disappointed of not getting to know her a little better although she was at home most of the time. But it was obvious from the beginning she was not in the least curious or interested in getting to know me. I take no offense since I really had a marvelous time in Naples and mainly thanks to Valeria and her comfortable home. I just think I don't appreciate the "RBN'B mentality", meaning that, once you have paid the full amount of what you owe from the very first or second day, the host doesn't need to care much about you and has no need to make any efforts to be friendly...I will be fair: one night she cooked delicious Parmigiana di melanzane and shared it with me and when I left for the airport, she helped me carry my heavy suitcase down the 3 flights of very steep marble stairs to the taxi. It is also understandable that Valeria was tense about me bringing the corona virus from Paris...But I want to thank Valeria for making my stay in Naples possible and very enjoyable!!! Un bacione!

Valeria est très gentille et très serviable. Elle donne de bon conseils et est a la fois interessante et intéressée par ses locataires. Je vous recommande son appartement qui est tres agréable malgre la rue très passante en bas de chez elle.

Valéria est adorable, pleine d'attentions, elle vous met à l'aise et fait tout pour rendre le séjour de ses hôtes agréable, prête à rendre service en cas de difficulté, elle vous donnera aussi des petits tuyaux bien pratiques. La chambre (j'étais dans la bleue) est très grande et très bien installée, rien n'y manque, le lit est bon. Quant à la terrasse, elle est magnifique ! Le quartier est génial, animé sans être touristique, à 10-15 mn du centre ville à pied et le métro n'est pas loin, 5mn (c'est en pente, comme partout à Naples, mais ça descend vers le centre ville, donc le matin c'est parfait et le soir si vos jambes ne vous obéissent plus, vous pouvez rentrer en métro et de la station ça descend vers chez elle, c'est l'idéal :))). Il y a tous les commerces dont on peut avoir besoin (épiceries, fruits et légumes, boulangeries, tabac, trattorias, pizzerias, banque, poste et même...des taxis !). Seul petit bémol : le quartier est très bruyant, la nuit aussi, mais Naples est bruyant de toute façon, je ne pense pas qu'on puisse trouver plus calme dans le centre de Naples ! En résumé j'ai passé un super séjour, un grand merci Valéria !

Very friendly host and a lovely room to stay in. Valeria was very welcoming and helpful when I needed help to sort things out in Naples and I enjoyed some of my meals with her and her friends on the lovely terrace with great conversation in the evenings. The location is also very useful with metro stations close by and a short walk into the historic centre of Naples. Would recommend staying here!

Valeria est une hôtesse très sympathique et très sociable. Elle est à la fois discrète mais fait profiter de son reseau d'amis qui sont vraiment charmants. Les soirées sont donc " à la Napolitaine"! L'appartement se situe à 10 mn à pied du centre historique ce qui est idéal pour visiter Naples. Je recommande notamment aux voyageurs solitaires comme moi...

Good cheap solution. 5 minutes' walk from Salvator Rosa underground station (M1). A little bit noisy area but acceptable (Naples is not so quiet). Very nice terrasse exploitable in the good season. Nice, reserved host, strong smoker. Not fit for persons who don't stand smoke.
